Pineapple Anthology of Florida Writers

Editor James C. Clark presents students, academics, and general interest readers with volume one of a two volume anthology of work published by Florida authors and written in Florida by authors from elsewhere between 1834 and 1990. The editor has organized the pieces that make up the main body of the text chronologically. The anthology contains work from John James Audubon, John Muir, Harriet Beecher Stowe, John Greenleaf Whittier, Frederick Remington, James Weldon Johnson, Jules Verne, Stephen Crane, Zora Neale Hurston, Wallace Stevens, Elizabeth Bishop, Ernest Hemmingway, Tennessee Williams, and many others.
