"Extraordinary stories, ordinary lives. This powerful and moving drama shares the stories of women whose everyday lives have been touched by the recent conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan. These women, who live in our street, and drink in our local, share their stories with warmth, humour and candour, as they reveal the real lottery of war. "He was a boy. I loaned my son to them to do a job. I didn't say you could keep him." Janice Murray, mother of Private Michael Tench, aged 18."
