A compact New Testament that offers hope and encouragement to women who are experiencing an unplanned pregnancy. Finding yourself (or someone you know) pregnant at a time when you were not planning to start a family can be frightening and overwhelming. The Scriptures tell us to not be afraid or anxious about the present or the future, but to trust God and “cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you” (1 Peter 5:7). The NIV Hope for the Future New Testament with Psalms and Proverbs includes added content designed to draw women into the bigger story of the Bible as well as God's bigger story of redemption for the world. It does so by telling the redemptive story of a young woman who moved from uncertainty to hope, one that will encourage women in this situation to find help and hope in the Scriptures.
