This collection of essays is a testimony to the spiritual, theological and scientific legacy of Pierre Teilhard de Chardin. The contributors, both scientists and theologians, are all well-known scholars who have made significant contributions through their research. In their essays, they share their own insights about the nature and continuing influence of Teilhard's writings. The book provides reflections by acknowledged authorities on Teilhard's spiritual life, on the friends with whom he corresponded, on his spiritual and philosophical theological orientations, and on the continuing significance of his scientific interests.
