Leonora : Buried Story of Guadeloupe

This work is termed a ""roman temoignage"" (testimonial-novel) bridging documentary and fiction. Spanning six decades of Leonara's life, the book indirectly explores the economic, social and cultural life of Guadeloupe's peasants and working class, especially black women.
