A family that won’t talk. A detective who won’t give up. Grant Burnside, the ruthless leader of a violent gang, was gunned down in 2014, but his murder remains unsolved. Detective Gus Freeman and his Crime Review Team take on the case, determined to crack the secrets surrounding the Burnside family. Now under the leadership of Grant’s son, Gary, the gang continues to cast a long shadow over the community, their influence bolstered by a family solicitor who ensures no member speaks out of turn. Gus, with his sharp instincts and decades of experience, digs deep into the family’s façade, unearthing a trail of lies, intimidation and unfinished business. As every lead reveals fresh layers of deception and danger, the team uncovers connections to other crimes, including the suspicious disappearance of a gang associate. With the stakes rising, Gus must navigate a labyrinth of loyalty and betrayal to expose the truth.
