A truly accessible guide to the magic of the fifteen Behenian fixed stars. In Stellar Magic, author and astrologer Chloe Margherita takes us to the furthest edges of the glimmering heavens to introduce us to the myths, the magic, and the insight the fixed stars can provide. You don’t need to know astrology to be able to step outside and gaze up to experience celestial wonder; astrology works best when it is not lived solely in the mind. Beyond being deeply resonant in their beauty, the fixed stars open us up to the soulful part of our lives, our own inner poetry, feeling, and intuition. Through them we can learn to trust our ability to tune in to our own inner magic. Of all the fixed stars, the fifteen Behenian stars are the ones most often used in magical workings. They have a magical legacy that goes back to at least the third century CE, and their use is enshrined in the works of Hermes Trismegistus and the Egyptian scribe god Thoth. Stellar Magic provides in-depth essays on the stars along with rituals, gemstones and herbal correspondences, recipes and embodied ideas, and ways to connect with the stars as allies. The author gives case studies so you can see how to work with the stars practically and astrologically. Stellar Magic will help you to understand these fifteen stars as beings, to approach them with your heart as well as your mind so that you can form your own relationship with these stellar deities, and to strengthen and guide your spiritual and creative life.
