The story takes readers on a gripping race to unravel a series of killings that signal something much bigger: an international conspiracy to sabotage SpaceX's Starlink and Starship launches, turning Starship into a massive bomb. Told through multiple viewpoints, including the FBI detectives running point in the investigation, the beautiful young mother extorted to serve as the messenger of the final detonation codes, and the cruel mastermind of the terrorist plot, the story is united by the perspective of Dr. Jake LaFleur, the hapless bystander at the confluence of the conspirators and their victims.
The Fatal Messenger is a hectic thriller capturing the scope of the sprawling response required by a high-tech terrorist plan. Thrumming with heart as the guileless but determined LaFleur doggedly pursues his instincts to help those in need, The Fatal Messenger reveals how inevitably a terrorist threat can come together-and how chaotically it can fall apart.
