What should be the core principles for a local church? Mark Ashton writes about his eight heartfelt convictions about the local church - the centrality of the Bible and prayer; expository preaching; every member having a ministry and existing for the sake of others. These convictions are illustrated with stories from church life at the Round Church, Cambridge, where he served as pastor.
