A giftable boxed set of three award-winning chapter books! Books 1-3 in the Schneider Family Award and Theodor Seuss Geisel Honor–winning Henry series share relatable, reassuring stories that are just right for beginning readers. Get to know Henry, a sweet and sensitive child on the autism spectrum, and all his friends in Classroom Ten: Henry likes his school. His best friend, Katie, is in his class. Mrs. Tanaka teaches them about music, art, and science. They have Snack and go to Recess. Most things are the same every day. That is how Henry likes it. But sometimes things are different. This boxed set features paperback editions of the first three funny, warmhearted tales in the beloved series: Henry, Like Always: This week, Henry's class will have a parade, and a parade means having Share Time on the wrong day. A parade means playing instruments that are too loud. A parade means this week is not like always. Henry and the Something New: A field trip to the museum means maybe seeing dinosaurs, Henry's favorite. But it also means a lot of things that are new: a noisy school bus ride, a building full of echoes and hallways, and plenty of chances to get lost! Henry's Picture-Perfect Day: On Picture Day, Mrs. Tanaka says that the class will take a perfect picture. The trouble is that Henry does not feel perfect. His new shirt feels too tight. He has never practiced smiling. And, worst of all, his front tooth is starting to wobble. Can Henry’s friends help him through hard times? Follow along as Henry navigates the joys and trials of life in Classroom Ten in these stories, sure to delight with their sweet humor and illustrations throughout.
