Logic programming refers to execution of programs written inHorn logic. Among the advantages of this style ofprogramming are its simple declarativeand proceduralsemantics, high expressive power and inherentnondeterminism.The papers included in this volume were presented at theWorkshop on Parallel Logic Programming held in Paris on June24, 1991, as part of the 8th International Conference onLogic Programming.
